Description

The John Woodland monument is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 10 meters south of the nave of the Church of St Martin. It dates from 1818 and is made of limestone. The tomb is rectangular in shape and features end panels that are enriched with an egg and dart moulding. The raised side panels also have an egg and dart border, and the tomb is topped with a moulded top and plinth. The inscription on the monument commemorates John Woodland, who died in 1818.
