Description
Four unidentified monuments are located approximately 2 meters south of the south aisle wall in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary. These monuments date from the 18th century and are made of limestone. There are two headstones and two footstones. The two stones to the west have very worn cartouche panels, with one featuring a segmental head and the other a square top. To the east, one stone has a scroll top and the other displays a cherub and a sunk panel. They are possibly associated with the Gardner family, but the inscriptions are now illegible.
