Description

This description covers a group of two chest tombs located in the churchyard approximately 8 meters south of the south transept of the Church of St Martin. These tombs date from the early 18th century and are made of limestone. The group consists of two lyre-ended chest tombs, with one inscribed to John Croome, who died in 1720, and the other inscribed to John Bayden, who died in 1739.
