Description
This is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 1 metre east of the monument to Hannah Bradly, south of the Church of St. John. It is dated 1757 and made of limestone. The tomb has octagonal ends and a rectangular shape, featuring a gadrooned base and egg and dart mouldings. The west end displays a winged cherub's head above a curtain swag and an open book, while the east end has similar features but is damaged. On the south side, there is a large Rococo cartouche that contains a trophy made up of torches, a bow, an arrow, and a central flaming urn. The north side has a cartouche with inscriptions. The tomb has a hollow moulded top and a cyma moulded plinth, topped with a square-based domical coped top. It is inscribed on the north side to the brother of Henry Bradly, who died in 1757.
