Description

Clare Villa is an early 19th-century building located on Westward Road. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a hipped slate roof with projecting eaves supported by coupled consoles on the south side. The building has corniced ashlar chimneys and stands two storeys tall. It includes a three-bay arrangement of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, a six-panel door with an oblong fanlight, and an entablature topped with a pediment and acroteria supported by reeded consoles. There is a modern porch added to the entrance.
