Description

Number 125 (Ravenswell) and Number 127 (Elmfield), along with the stable block and summerhouse, are a group of buildings dating to the 17th century. They are constructed of coursed rubble. The buildings feature gabled ranges with stone mullioned windows, each with hoodmolds, and a continuous line of hoodmolds along the ground floor. The gables incorporate blocked oval windows, one of which has an ornamental surround. The buildings were extended in 1846. The stable block is constructed of ashlar and has a stone roof, topped with an unusual sundial finial. Number 127 includes an octagonal glass summerhouse with a pyramidal glass roof and an octagonal lantern.
