Description
The William Harding memorial, located approximately 5 meters north of the main doors to the Congregational Chapel, is a pedestal tomb dated 1793. It is made of limestone and features a moulded square base and a cruciform pedestal. The memorial has two faces adorned with floriated elliptical panels and two additional moulded elliptical panels. It includes a frieze that is partly fluted and a cornice, topped with a slightly domed weathered top. The inscription reads "WILLIAM HARDING, 1793." This memorial is notable as the only upright memorial remaining in the small yard on the north side of the chapel.
