Description

Pensile House is an early 19th-century house built of painted rubble with a stone tile roof, comprising two ranges. The house has three storeys and originally three windows, though later two-storey angled bays were added. It features plate glass sash windows, with casements on the second floor. A central Tuscan portico provides access via a panelled door. The windows on the returns of the angled bays retain their original glazing bars. Inside, a notable feature is a pretty early Victorian staircase distinguished by knops on each baluster.
