Description

High Beeches is an early 19th-century building located on Watledge Road. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a hipped Cotswold stone roof, cornice, and blocking course. The building stands three storeys tall and has five windows with glazing bar sashes. On the ground floor, there are three light segmental bow windows and a verandah supported by patterned wrought-iron standards. A modern central glazed porch has been added, along with a matching two-storey, four-window flat-roofed extension to the right. Inside, the property retains several original features from around 1800, including a segmental archway leading to a segmentally planned staircase and mahogany doors with fielded panels flanking the entrance.
