Description

No. 30 is a mid-19th century dwelling with a later hairdressing salon, built on the site of an older cove. The house has a smooth rendered facade and a stone slate roof, with an ashlar stack at the end. It comprises two parallel ranges with a central flat section. The front of the house has two storeys and two windows, featuring sash windows with a single vertical bar. A good mid-19th century shop front occupies the ground floor, with three bays of slender colonettes and elliptical arched heads, plain glazed set-back door, original fascia and projecting hood. A panelled door is located on the far right, with three vertical upper panels, two of which are glazed, all within a moulded frame.
