Description
No. 28 Canonbury Street is a small house located in a terrace, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and features a pantile roof with a tall brick chimney stack on the left side. The house is a single range with two storeys. On the upper floor, there is one window, which is a 12-pane sash window with a moulded wood architrave to the left, and a painted blind similar to the right, both positioned directly below the eaves fascia. The ground floor includes a canted bay window to the left and a doorcase to the right, which has a flat wooden hood with a moulded cornice. The door is a 19th-century four-panel design, with the top two panels glazed and the lower two fielded.
