Description

These are two mid-19th century brick cottages, located on the east side of Foxmoor Lane in Ebley. The north elevation is constructed with hammer-dressed rubble. The cottages have pitched pantiled roofs. They are two stories high, with an ashlar stringcourse marking the boundary between the ground and first floors. Each cottage has a range of casement windows with glazing bars. Gabled hoods, supported by wooden brackets, shelter each door. Number 6 features a single mullioned window with a hoodmould on its north elevation. These cottages, along with numbers 1 to 8 (consecutively numbered) and Ivy Cottage, form a group, as does the shed situated opposite number 6.
