Description
The cottage at Hilliers Bacon Curing Company Limited in Newmarket is an early 18th-century building. It stands two and a half storeys tall and is constructed of painted rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and brick gable end chimneys. The south gable end features a range of windows with labels, including one light in the attic, two lights on the first floor with a mullion, and a 19th-century sash window on the ground floor. To the right of the south gable, there is a gabled single-storey extension with a door. The east front has a range of windows to the right of a gabled wash-house projection, which is of the mullion type.
