Description
The building is a former granary and dairy, now serving as an outbuilding, located immediately southwest of Priory House. The granary dates back to the 17th century, while the dairy addition was made in the 19th century. It features random and coursed rubble limestone with stone slate and plain tile roofs. The structure is two stories high.
On the north side, the granary is on the right and has stone steps leading to a gabled loft doorway with a plank door, along with a dog kennel recess beneath the stairs. To the left of the stairs, there is a ground floor doorway with a timber lintel and a plank door. The granary extends to the left with a lean-to roof that covers the dairy behind, which includes a bread oven. The dairy has a pentice roof that extends to the left and features a hipped corner. There is a heavy plank door to the dairy, with a 2-light recessed cavetto mullioned casement above it, and a 19th-century casement with a timber lintel to the left of the door. The dairy has gables at both the east and west ends.
On the south side, there are 2-light mullioned casements on both the ground and upper floors of the dairy, along with a gabled loft opening to the granary. This building is part of the Priory Farm grouping, which includes the church.
