Description

Yew Tree Cottage and Post Office Cottage is a house and former malthouse, now divided into two houses and a post office. It is dated "B/DM/1701". The building is constructed of rubble, with Post Office Cottage rendered. It features a 20th-century tiled roof that is hipped over Post Office Cottage, and there are rubble stacks. The structure is in an L-plan and has two storeys with attics in hipped dormers. Each wing has two windows and a door, although the central door of Post Office Cottage is now blocked. Yew Tree Cottage has 20th-century cross windows, a door, and a gabled porch, while Post Office Cottage has altered cross windows and 20th-century windows, along with a door in the gable end.
