Description

Number 30 and Number 32, on Bowbridge Lane, are a pair of cottages originating in the medieval period. They are now terraced. The construction is of coursed rubble, with a pitched stone roof. The cottages are two storeys high, with attics. On the east side, there are four casement windows with glazing bars. The west side features two casement windows with glazing bars, and one 14th-century two-light mullioned window with cusped arches. A projecting chimney breast is present on the east side, incorporating a battered water table and a tall ashlar stack.
