Description

The Taylor Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 3 meters northeast of the north porch of the Church of St. Leonard. It dates from 1656 and is made of limestone. The tomb features panelled sides with flat balusters, raised lozenges at the ends, and complex moulding along the top. It has a moulded cornice at the top, while the base is not visible as of March 1985. The south side of the monument is inscribed with the name of Robert Taylor, who died in 1656.
