Description
Glentworth is a dwelling dating from the early 19th century or late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with stone slate on the south and east slopes of the main block, featuring one small hipped dormer, while the remainder of the roof is covered with slate or asbestos cement slate. The building consists of parallel blocks with a central valley and a hipped end over a bowed section. It has two storeys, with level changes that reflect the slope of the ground. The main garden facade showcases a large shallow bow that spans two storeys and includes original fine glazing bars. Most windows are three-light casements set under wood lintels, except for one in the rear wing, which is positioned under a wide segmental arch. The main entrance features a panelled door with a two-light rectangular fanlight above it, and there is a new glazed porch added.
