Description

Pear Tree Cottage and the adjoining stable to the rear date from the early to mid 18th century. The cottage is built of rubble and features a cross-gabled Cotswold stone roof. It has two and a half storeys with two and three-light stone mullion windows that have modern glazing, drip moulds, and hollow chamfer mouldings in a rebated surround. There is a door to the right with a 20th-century gabled weather porch. A segmental opening and a blocked door are located on the north-west side. The mid-19th century stable at the rear has a segmental arched doorway facing south-east.
