Description
No. 3 College Street is a house that has been converted into part of a shop. It was built in 1825 and has undergone late 19th century and mid 20th century alterations. The building is constructed of brick with stone details and features a slate mansard roof and a brick chimney stack. It is designed with a double-depth layout and stands three storeys tall with an attic. The front of the building includes a stone-coped parapet, while the ground floor has been refaced in ashlar. On each of the upper floors, there are two late 19th century sash windows in their original openings, which have flat-arched heads made of five raised-and-stepped voussoirs and projecting sills. The interior has not been inspected.
