Description

Gates and railings to the churchyard located to the south and southwest of the Church of St Catherine were constructed around 1915. These wrought-iron railings are mounted on a low, coped ashlar retaining wall. The railings feature panels with top, bottom, and intermediate rails between standards, adorned with fleur-de-lys finials. At the west end of the enclosure, there are moulded stone gate piers. This structure is an important part of the setting for the Church of St Catherine.
