Description

The Newman memorial is a chest tomb located about 21 metres northeast of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints. It commemorates Thomas Newman, who died in 1753. The tomb is made of sandstone and features a flat top with a moulded capping and plinth. It is adorned with long quarter balusters and scrolled cartouches on all sides. At the time of the survey on June 14, 1984, the inscription on the north side was partially overgrown.
