Description

Stoneberrow House is a house dating from the early 18th century, which was refronted and reroofed in the early 19th century. The front of the house is constructed with Flemish bond brickwork, while the rear is of English garden wall bond. It has a slate roof. The house has a three-window front and is two rooms deep, with two and a half storeys. A six-panel front door is set three stone steps up, with a four-pane rectangular fanlight above. The door is sheltered by an open porch with vertical boarding to the base and a trellis above, covered by a lean-to lead roof. Sixteen-pane sash windows are on either side of the door, each with a rubbed brick arch. Similar windows are above each end, with a normal sash window in the centre. The eaves are cogged, and there are gable chimneys.
