Description
The Hall monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 5 meters north-west of the north-west corner of the tower of the Church of St. John the Evangelist. It commemorates Richard, son of Pauncefoot Hall, who died in 1760. The tomb is made of stone and features a flat lid with a moulded edge. It has quarter fluted pilaster corners and fielded panels on the ends and south side, adorned with rococo carving surrounding the lettering. There are also later inscriptions on the lid.
