Description
The monument to Dinah Man is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 7 metres south-east of the porch of the Church of St Mary Magdalen. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a flat top with square edges and plain inscription panels. At the time of the survey in November 1983, the base was found to be sunk, and the panels on the north and south sides were falling out. The tomb is dedicated to Dinah Man, although no date is legible. It lies directly south of the Elizabeth Brown monument and is adjacent to an unidentified chest tomb.
