Description

Church Farmhouse is a late 16th-century farmhouse with 17th-century additions. It is constructed of painted rubble stone and roughcast, with a slate roof. A central stone ridge stack is located to the right of the main door, and a projecting stone stack is on the front wall of the cross gable. The main range is single and of varying periods, with a central cross gable projecting on both sides. To the left of the gable is a two-storey and attic section with a hipped roof. This section has two casement windows on each floor, with two small gabled dormers above, the rightmost of which is oval. A half-glazed door is situated to the left. A wing to the right of the gable is two storeys high and contains two mullion and transom windows. A stone mullioned window is located on the first floor of the rear of the cross gable. Two barns adjoin to the left.
