Description
The Steps and attached granary is a house dating from the early 17th century. It is constructed of squared rubble stone and has a slate roof with two end stacks, one of brick on the right and one of stone projecting to the left. The building is two storeys high and consists of a single range. It features two windows on the upper floor, which are two-light lattice stone-mullion windows with hoodmoulds, and a three-light window on the ground floor. The central entrance has a boarded door and is sheltered by a 19th-century boarded porch. To the left, there is a flight of ten stone steps leading up to an adjoining building, which is likely a former granary that is now part of the house, featuring a roof made of stone slate and pantiles.
