Description
This is an early 19th-century pedestal tomb located in the churchyard, about 12 meters south of the southeast corner of the south porch of the Church of St. Ethelbert. The tomb is square in shape and made of stone. It features a slightly weathered lid with a square, horizontally-ribbed edge, with the ribbing stopping before the corners. Above this is a flattened, square dome that supports a urn with a horizontally-ribbed lip and a curved, conical cap. The corners of the tomb are adorned with detached, fluted columns. Each face of the main body has a slightly raised oval panel intended for lettering. The tomb rests on a plain, square plinth, all set on a wide stone base that once supported railings.
