Small house. Late C18. Timber-framed in small panels, with wattle and daub infill to sides and rear and later brick infill to front; gabled plain tile roof with truncated rubble stack to west gable stack. 2-unit central-entry plan. 2 storeys; 2-window front. Plank door and 2-light casements. INTERIOR has retained exposed framing and joisting; side-purlin roof. One of a group of small cottages to have survived in the Forest of Dean area, and a late example in the timber-frame tradition.
