Description

This is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St Andrew in Chedworth, positioned at the corner of the churchyard path and the path leading to The Manor. It dates from the mid-19th century and is dedicated to the children of ---yer and Elizabeth Townsend. The tomb is made of limestone and has a square plan that stands at one end of a rectangular stone slab. Each of the four sides features inscriptions bordered by simple beaded margins, and it is topped with a moulded pyramidal capping.
