Description

This 17th-century building, located next to T S Barkes and Son Solicitors on Oxford Street in Moreton-in-the-Marsh, is a small rubble cottage that has been altered over time. It stands at 2½ storeys tall and features a slate roof with a coped verge on the right side. A small 19th-century gabled dormer is present, along with a 19th-century first-floor sash window set in a rebated surround of a mullion window. On the ground floor, there is a projecting canted bay, and to the east, a two-light mullion window is located in the gable. A panelled door is positioned to the left of the bay.
