Description

The Old School House, dated 1851, is a three-storey building constructed of ashlar with a Welsh slate roof. It features three windows with leaded casements that have cambered heads and stone mullions. The central window on the first floor is set in an arched niche, and below it is an inscription in good Victorian lettering that reads 'Infant School Established 1851'. The entrance has a plain modern glazed door. The roof has a low pitch with stone verges and end stacks. To the left, there is a single-storey extension. At the rear, the former school room projects and has a gable with a four-light cusped window.
