Description

A pair of bale tombs dating from the early to mid-18th century is located immediately northwest of the church on Church Street. The northern tomb features carved cartouches and patterned end strips along its long sides. In contrast, the southern tomb has a thin gadrooned cresting instead of a traditional bale, with rebated quarter balusters at the corners and plain ornamentation on the end strips of its long sides.
