Description
The churchyard boundary wall, dating from around 1866, is constructed of low coursed rubble with an ashlar plinth and chamfered capping. It features two pointed archways that rise from the wall; the right-hand archway leads to a back passage behind the west side of the Square, while the left-hand archway provides access to an alleyway leading to Fossseway. Railings form the rear angle of this passageway to the churchyard. The gatepiers are designed with twice chamfered plinth and capping, and include a wrought-iron lamp overthrow and gates. The wall extends to the rear of "Square Corners" and incorporates a screen with Gothic 'Y' tracery window and an arched doorway.
