Description
This large barn, located at Manor Farm approximately 10 meters west of the Church of St Peter, dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed of random rubble limestone and features an artificial stone slate roof. The barn has eleven bays and includes porches on the north and south sides. The gabled porches are roughly central to the main seven-bay section of the barn and are adorned with weatherboarding above plank doors that have timber lintels. There are square barn vents present, and the four-bay section at the west end is a later addition with low openings. The east end has slit vents. Inside, the barn features mixed trusses with significant roof rebuilding, primarily consisting of tie-beam and scissor-braced trusses, along with timber board floors.
