Description
Jenner's Cottage is a large detached house built in the mid to late 18th century. It features coursed and dressed stone with a stone slate roof and has two stone stacks, one at the left end with a moulded cornice and a ridge stack capped with brick. The building is a single range with a rear lean-to on the right, standing two storeys high with an attic and a lobby entry plan.
The façade includes four windows: two 3-light stone mullions on the left and two 2-light stone mullions on the right. The ground floor mirrors this arrangement, with a projecting gabled stone porch, likely added in the late 19th century, positioned between the windows. The porch contains a door with four flush panels set in a chamfered stone surround, and there is a sun fire insurance plaque above the porch to the right. Additionally, there are two small hipped dormers featuring paired wooden casements.
