Description

The barn at Hullasey Farm is a large structure, likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with quoins and features a stone slate roof. On the west side, there is a prominent gabled cart entry that includes a large timber lintel and double timber doors. To the right of this entry, there is a small doorway also with a timber lintel. The barn has opposed gabled entries, both featuring a depressed arch at the wall plane. Inside, it consists of seven bays supported by collar and tie beam trusses, with pitch holes located at the gable ends and slit vents distributed throughout.
