Description

Two semi-detached houses dated to the late 17th and early 18th centuries, with 20th-century extensions. The houses are constructed of coursed, squared, and dressed limestone, with a brick gable end above the ground floor level. The roof is covered with concrete tiles, and there are brick stacks. The rectangular plan incorporates a projecting 20th-century porch to the left-hand house (No. 19) and a 20th-century extension to the right gable end. The facade faces the road at a right angle. The houses are two storeys high with an attic, featuring a 2-light, 20th-century roof dormer on the left side. There are three windows, arranged in five bays, with mostly 3- and 4-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements, one with a stopped hood. A 20th-century two-light metal casement is located at the lower right. Further 20th-century 3-light casements are set into the right gable end. Axial and gable end stacks are present. The interiors were not inspected.
