Description
The Rectory is a former rectory that has been converted into a detached house, dating from the 18th to early 19th century. Part of the rear wall may be older, possibly reusing late 17th to 18th century stone mullioned windows. There is a 20th-century extension. The building has a rectangular plan with a projecting central front porch and stands 2 and a half storeys high. It features three 2-light round-headed dormers with fanlights and curving glazing bars above casements. The facade has five windows, which are 12-pane sashes with beaded architraves and keystones. To the right, there is a one-windowed late 19th to early 20th-century extension with a casement that has geometric glazing bars on the first floor and a small triangular pediment. The porch has a six-panel double door, with a part-glazed door inside that has a moulded architrave and two fielded panels at the bottom. The sash windows retain their shutters. The roof is hipped with gable end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
