Description
Trafalgar Farmhouse is a detached house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features a small coursed squared and dressed limestone ashlar porch, a limestone slate roof, and ashlar stacks. The building has a rectangular plan with a very large projecting stack on the left gable end and an extension at the rear left corner. The facade is symmetrical and consists of two storeys with three windows. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has 4-pane sash windows, all of which have horns. The entrance to the porch is flanked by engaged pilasters that have mouldings at the top, which continue around the front and sides of the porch. Inside, there is a red and black tile floor and a part-glazed 19th-century door set in a round-headed surround. The roof features two parallel ridges with gable end stacks. Notably, there is a bread oven still in place in the single-storey extension at the rear left.
