Description

A barn dated to the late 18th and early 19th centuries, situated at Wells Head in Temple Guiting. The barn is constructed of limestone rubble with a limestone slate roof and 20th-century limestone stacks. The building has a rectangular plan with a lean-to addition off-centre to the right. A modern, open-fronted wood store is located far to the left and is not of particular architectural interest. To the right of the wood store is a single-story, 3-bay store with open fronts, featuring two timber uprights set on limestone padstones. The main barn section to the right has been converted and contains two large plate glass windows with timber lintels. An entrance is situated within the left-hand wall of the extension. The interior retains an original collar and tie truss.
