Description
The entrance to the tunnel and grotto in the gardens of Temple Guiting House dates from around 1790 to 1805 and is likely the work of George Talbot, who is associated with Temple Guiting House. The structure features two arched entrances made of large, undressed limestone rubble. The entrance on the right leads into a below-ground tunnel that follows the path of a former road, which has since been diverted.
