Description
The Vicarage is a vicarage located in Temple Guiting, primarily from the 19th century but possibly incorporating elements from an 18th-century house. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, featuring a limestone slate roof, limestone gable coping, and ashlar stacks. The building has an 'L' shaped plan and stands two storeys high with a garret. The front has twin gables and three windows, which include two and three-light stone-mullioned casements with transoms on the ground floor. There is a string course above the ground floor windows, and the front door, which is part glazed and formerly had four panels, is accessed by four steps. A latticework porch with a segmental metal roof is present. At the rear, there are two double-chamfered cross windows and a bull's eye window. The stacks have moulded tops and are located at the gable ends. The house is situated in a prominent position in relation to the church and the road. The interior has not been inspected.
