Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb from the 18th century, located about 4 meters north of the monument to Mary Winde in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary in Temple Guiting. The tomb is made of limestone and features an almost illegible inscription on the south side, set within a sunken square panel that is slightly stepped out. It is flanked by two sunken oval panels, with two tall, thin sunken rectangular panels at either end. The tomb is topped with a moulded capping stone.
