Description
Number 21 is an early 19th-century, two-storey house built from coursed and dressed rubble, topped with a slate roof featuring coped verges and footstones. The house has four windows, each fitted with 16-pane sash frames. To the right of the center, there is a modern panelled door that is sheltered by a decorative wrought iron porch, which is likely a modern adaptation of an earlier design, as indicated by traces on the wall. The boundary railings along the road feature fleur-de-lys heads and urn standards, with ornamental dog-leg stanchions. The gate includes an enriched lower panel. There are flanking abutment walls approximately 3 to 4 feet high and about 7 feet long on each side.
