Description
Elm House is a villa built around 1800, standing two and a half storeys high with an ashlar facade and a Cotswold stone roof. The building features two gabled dormers, end chimneys, and raised verges. There are four windows fitted with modern aluminium glazing bar sashes. To the right of the center, there is a charming wrought iron porch with a tented canopy, leading to a 20th-century oak door. The house is elevated on St George's Terrace above the road. The front has rails and standards adorned with fleur-de-lys heads, positioned on either side of the gates, which have a scrolled lower panel. To the left, there is a garden gate with a braced lower panel, and the rails return to the side of the house.
