Description
Park House is an early to mid-19th century villa that stands three storeys tall. It is constructed from coursed and dressed rubble and features a slate roof with coped verges and enriched footstones. The building has three windows, which are glazing bar sashes topped with bracket cornices, and the second floor includes flanking brackets at the eaves. The central doorway is adorned with a bracket cornice and has a panel above it, along with a four-panel door that has a large overlight. Above the central window, there is a panel inscribed with "Park House."
The boundary railings along the road have enriched heads, similar standards, and dog-leg stanchions. In the center, there are two ashlar gate piers with moulded capping, and a wrought iron gate featuring a scroll-work centerpiece.
To the left of the house, there is a small courtyard, and beyond that, stables to the north with rustic gate piers. This property represents a complete country merchant's house from its period.
