Description

Iveson Cottage is a small cottage that was enlarged in the 19th century and is now a detached property. It likely dates to the early to mid-18th century. The cottage is built of rubble stone with a stone slate roof to the front and artificial stone slates to the rear. There are brick chimneys, one on the left side and another towards the right, which are diagonally set and adjacent to a slightly raised roofline on the end bay.

The original part of the cottage is symmetrical and has two small gabled dormers with boarded gables in the eaves. The front has two two-light Yorkshire sliding sash windows with timber lintels on the ground floor, framing a central half-glazed door with a raking porch hood supported by brackets. The right-hand bay has a similar dormer, a plank door to the left, and a two-light casement window to the right, both with timber lintels.
