Description

Iveson Manor is a detached house built in 1908 by Sidney Gambier-Parry. It is constructed of coursed stone with quoins, and has a stone slate roof, along with large stone stacks featuring an offset and moulded cornice. The main front range is two storeys and has an attic, with three gables, projecting to the left and right of the centre, and a flush section to the far right. Windows are predominantly stone mullions with leaded casements, in 2, 3, or 4-light configurations, some being 4-light with king mullions. A large, square, two-storey bay is set into the projecting gable on the right-hand side, containing four-light windows with king mullions on each floor, with a stone plaque dated 1908 and bearing initials, MIC, placed between them. This gable features a corner stack in the left-hand angle, with angled windows below and a roof corner that projects outwards. The entrance is located in a single-storey porch on the far right. Rear wings echo the fenestration of the front.
