Description
Three chest tombs located five yards north of the Church of St Mary date from the early 15th century and are associated with the Bryan family. They are made of ashlar and feature fluted pilasters, moulded panels, and a cornice, with stepped coping and a roll-ridge that forms a vestigial bale. The nearest tomb, four yards from the church, is for George Bryan who died in 1800. The middle tomb, five yards away, is for John Bryan and his wife Ann. The further tomb, six yards from the church, is for George Bryan who died in 1833 and his wife who died in 1803.
